Thursday's are clean too!

Today began day two of cleaning.  I mean its ridiculous that it is taking me two days to clean a house someone else can do in two hours.  I did stop to buy a few extra items we needed, you know picture frames, a bowl thing for the table, and stuff to fill it, necessities. i did finally finish the cleaning and made the house smell yummy.  I even found time to decorate the front of our house with spider webs.  And spooky Halloween signs.  Now its time to hit the local pumpkin patch for the final touches.  Pictures to come.  Sloan and I headed to the gym for Art class.  Today we made stain glass pumpkins for Halloween!  Sloan's look as if a 30 something made it.  I was very impressed!  The ball pit was her hiding place of choice when I said lets go.  She would duck down when I looked at her and popped up when I turned around.

After class we headed home to get the boys for football practice.  Over the past few weeks we learned on Thursday you have to get there early to get a portion of the practice field.  Sloan and I went along to entertain the boys until practice started.

She is running/walking in for a touch down!

Coach Willson reviewing the plays.

Brayden practicing the snap count.

And Sloan found the bleachers.  That balance beam is sure paying off.

Lets get back to this whole cleaning ordeal, which i am not over just yet.  So I get home to cook Sloan dinner, clean that up, cook the boys dinner, clean that up.  Then it hits me, I spent all day cleaning only to clean more now that everyone was home. Football stuff covers the bathroom floor, Brent's clothes are piled next to the bed, Braydens backpack, shoes and lunch box in the entry and Sloan's toys from one end to the other.  A couple of things are happening now.  I'm not picking up the crap left all over the house for 7 days, on the 7th day into a trash bag it goes and into the garage.  i don't understand why they insist on piling clothes in the closet and on the floor.  How the hell do you know if the are clean or dirty. And the funny part is for over a year, if the clothes are not in the laundry basket, they don't get washed by me, cleaning lady, nanny or any other passer by er.  This apparently did not phase anyone. I just ignore the piles until someone ask where is my whatever.  Then I head to the pile, where 99% of the time, it is there.  Brent ask me if his jeans got washed today, my reply no because they were not in the laundry.  Oh he says I just put them on the washer.  Oh well I'm just now done with ALL the laundry for today.   Brayden asked me today if the blood stain would come out of his jersey.  well yes if you would put it in the dirty clothes i would wash it.  I'm on a mission. over and out!
