Its Friday, Its Saturday Where did this weekend go?

6 am and Sloan screams good morning through out the house.  Well more like a blood curling scream.  I decided if I was up at this awful time so was everyone else, which bit me in the butt later in the day.  Even after waking Brent and Brayden by 7 they were both snoring loudly again.  (Come on people)

So I rushed Brayden to school telling him he would buy lunch today.   We pull up to the horrific car pool lane, where you are not aloud to let a child out unless you are in the designated curb side area with the two safety guards and teacher awaiting your arrival.  Only 3 cars at a time fit into this area.  It is the slowest beating ever.  We are there, ready to get out and Brayden says I do not have any money in my account.  Perfect place to announce this since I told him 30 minutes ago he would buy.  Where did it go?  He replies with I bought milk once.  OK first milk does not cost $5.00 and second I'm now the lady holding up traffic, you absolutely cant pass in the carpool lane. And third, I make a perfect Brayden lunch every day with a snack. I had to count the quarters out of my change holder to give my child lunch money.  And I got at least 3 nasty looks and one I am positive was screaming at me when I pulled out of the lot.

I rush back home to get Sloan and head to play at the gym.  (Yes we go everyday for something, it is the joy and pain of owning something)  Well she choked on her pop tart and threw up on Brent, in the bed on the floor and 10 other places. I cant decide if she ran around randomly picking out places to throw up or if Brent carried her trying to figure out what to do.  I mean she is 20 lbs how does that much come out of her little body.  (Don't panic if you saw us Friday.  She is fine just put too much in her mouth and choked.)  So I'm cleaning again. I'm cleaning things I had no ideal how she reached. Once clean, We head off, stopping at Starbucks because I feel the length of this day.

Sloan got one late birthday gift while at the gym,  our very fav Kel gave her a stroller.  Sloan pushed it around the gym, outside the gym, in the parking lot, everywhere.  She was very happy with her new hot pink stroller.  Until we had to get in the car and the stroller would not fit in the seat with her.  I even tried to fold it to fit.  So I sat it in the floor next to Sloan, she could reach the handle but could not pull it up.  Every few minutes she would try and scream then the tears.  That was the longest 20 minutes.  I thought we were going to nap with the damn thing.  Once awake we were back to pushing it through the house.  This time she added one cookie.  She would push, take a bite, push and once it was gone she picked a baby.

Brayden came home from school with a report card. I was very impressed with his all A's.  However, a little concerned with the low grade in reading since the kid can spell words I have never heard of.   he looks at his spelling list on Monday and does not pick it up again until I quiz him Thursday.  I don't get it, he just knows the words.  He was a very proud kid and a very proud mom.

Nana and Pappy made it to town along with the other 10 million razorback fans.  I am so excited and my mommy brought me tickets.  We went to our fav sushi restaurant for dinner and came home for cookies and a movie. Thought I got Sloan to bed early and had 2 hours for a movie.........NO WAY.  About an hour in she yelled help or just that bloody scream.  So i went to get her.  you know that mommy instinct, where you just know something is wrong, well i knew it.  She came to bed with me and we spent the next 5 hours between my bed, the kitchen for water, juice or milk and her floor.  This is where Brent found me at 5am.  Luckily i found braydens sleeping bag and a pillow without waking the house or the baby.   So I went to bed for what felt like a minute.  By 9am I was fighting another fever and a very fussy baby, Brent left for football.

Today the baby boys played a team they knew had no wins and they were mighty confident we would win.  As well most of the parents.  We lost.  and from the 10 minutes I saw everyone was a bit scattered.  I got out of the car cheered one play, got back in the car and sat in the Dr's office for 2 hours.  We have one ear infection. We debated on heading to the stadium with Sloan, without Sloan, but she was so sad and pitiful, we could not leave her.  So I watched the razorbacks on TV in my living room, holding my 40 yard line tickets.  (tears are still falling)  Sloan spent the afternoon wanting too be held, not held, rocked, not rocked, it was a bit dramatic.  She gets that from her father.  He is a very dramatic patient.  The only time she giggled was when we went out to get the mail.
Overall not the day I planned but it works!  I even got a cherry limeade from sonic tonight for dinner.
