So my day was not completely consumed with birthday stuff! I went to cheer Brayden through the fun run at school. He had his dad, Brent and I pledge money for each lap he ran. And to me surprise he RAN all 35 laps! I was very proud. And I must admit those fun run guys were really fun. They would play a song from the 80's and say dance around this lap like yo mama, then disco for the 70's. They even played all the Texas fight songs. To reassure all my Arkansas friends, I don't know the words to any Texas school! Sloan and I danced and cheered!!!
After the run Sloan and I were on earn duty. Not much fun for her, so I stopped by the gym for a 10 free play and to run payroll. Im sure my employees are Thankful for that! We grabbed a quick bit to eat with daddy at our favorite Thai place and headed home for a nap. Well Sloan napped, I put goodie bags together. These goodie bags are the death of me. I finally found the perfect balance of cheap and fun! I left Sloan with dad and ran to get Brayden so he could help pick out a cake. If you remember I forgot to order a cake. We found a cute pink poka dotted cake and the lady wrote happy birthday Sloan. In my need to bake I decided to make cupcakes for the kids. I even bought a decorating icing thing. I baked 20 vanilla cupcakes and put them in the freezer until later to ice.
We had the Lewis's over for dinner, which is always fun! Dax and Sloan played in her new kitchen. They looked so sweet cooking together, until I thought she might hit him over the head with a pan. The moved on to the car. I watch the dads try to put both kids in the seat, then one inside one on top. Finally dads let the kids figure it out. Sloan would push Dax, then Dax would push Sloan. They were too cute.

While the kids played, I iced more cupcakes. After putting my new tool together and experimenting on a plate. I decided to ice the old fashion way, with a knife. The bottle of wine I had combine with chit chat made the cup decorating less than par. I call them drunken cakes! They were really ugly, but tasted great. I ate more than a few, while Shelley ate the icing!!
